The Garden Society is a garden centre like no other. It is full to the brim of home-ware, gifts and spectacular gardening products.

The attention to detail is obvious as soon as you step in the front door. The displays captivate and inspire you to try out the designs in your home too. The Garden Society pride themselves in the brands that they stock, including Katie Loxton. Each object on the shelf has a space and a chance to shine. I think the items they stock are quite unique and are really high quality. Because of this, some items can be a bit pricey and you can probably buy similar things elsewhere, but who doesn't love a treat.

Going to The Garden Society feels like an experience and not a chore. It makes your average shopping trip feel luxurious and fun. If you are decorating or renovating your home, I would suggest a visit here because you will pick up lots of ideas. It's like walking into a living Pinterest board, which has been my dream for years!

Not only do The Garden Society stock lots of lovely and some practical gardening products, they have utilised the space outdoors to have a delightful cafe area. There is also the opportunity to sit inside too. Oh my goodness. Gone are the days of a boring, easy cheese toastie. The menu here is delightful! From lunch to all day brunch there is something for everyone on this expansive menu. I was so surprised by the variety that this menu had. It looks more like a menu for a restaurant with burgers, fish and salads also available to purchase. Obviously, you do not have to commit to a full meal - but why wouldn't you - you can buy hot drinks with a slice of cake too. Last time I visited, I had a gluten free lemon drizzle cake, which was made with almond flour. The portion was huge and tasted so delicious and summery.

Furthermore, in the current climate, it is clear to see that The Garden Society are taking the safety of their customers and staff very seriously. You can find out more about their Covid-19 policy by following the link here.

The Garden Society is located just outside of Southampton. To find out more about them, visit their website or even better go and see them in person!
